Cab My Ride is a Southampton - based taxi company that takes on Uber through its intuitive mobile phone application and individualised,
location-based discounts provided by local businesses. The company approached me when they were developing an enhanced version of their already existing app.
The full technical solution consisted of an Android and an iOS application and an administration area where live jobs and customers could be managed.
My role in the project included project management, user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design and iOS development . I regularly met with the Cab My Ride stakeholders to ensure that the app met the business's needs. My role also involved overseeing a team of junior Android and backend developers.
